Goodbye Etsy

After a lot of consideration, I have decided to close my Etsy shop. I have enjoyed building the collection of beautiful knits but no longer have the time to invest into my shop. To clear out my shop everything is 30% off. Please pop over to the shop and grab something beautiful at amazing prices. If you live in Evansville IN please let me know and I will waive shipping fees. Black Friday Etsy Sale

Hello all, I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving full of love and happiness. I love Thanksgiving but I hate Black Friday. My husband and I opt out if the Black Friday madness and choose to stay home, watch Christmas movies and put up our decorations. This year we plan to have a Harry Potter movie marathon with our niece and nephew. I would much rather do some shopping online so I thought I'd run the biggest sale ever on my Etsy!! If you use the coupon code BLACKFRIDAY20 you will receive … [Read more...]

Sunburn, Wet Shoes, No Money

I was hopeful for a perfect weekend but instead I got intense sun followed but endless rain. Weather conditions like those don't make for a good turn out at a craft fair. Our booth was amazing. Sadly not many booths had much success. Everyone had a sunburn and soaked shoes the next day. Our profits were … [Read more...]

The Last Few Months

Fall is upon us in Southern Indiana which can only mean, knitting! Endless amounts of knitting. I'm really looking forward to setting up for two days and sharing some knitted love with the community. There is a new yarn shop in town that I've fallen in love with and have purchased some beautiful yarns! I picked up some Mini Mochi and couldn't resist … [Read more...]

Homemade Chocolate Cupcakes with Avocado Chocolate Frosting

Saturday I baked some cupcakes for a Father's Day cookout that we had at our home for my in-laws so I thought I'd share the delicious recipe since I believe they are the best cupcakes I've ever eaten! I did change the recipe slightly because I didn't have one of the ingredients needed. Instead of palm oil shortening I just used coconut oil. The original recipe can be found here from the site Primal Palate. For the icing I used the suggested recipe for these cupcakes which can be … [Read more...]

Individual Portabella Mushroom Pizzas -Saladmaster Recipe

Once upon a time I despised mushrooms but times have changed and I've grown to love them. I wanted to share a little recipe my husband and I threw together the other day that I think you would really enjoy as well! Portabella Mushroom Pizzas!!  Yes that's right, portabella mushroom pizzas! I absolutely love pizza and I could eat it every single day but of course that's not really an option. My darling husband suggested we try something different so here we have a new little … [Read more...]
